Ganitam: Frontier Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics—where "Ganitam" is the Sanskrit name for mathematics—publishes cutting-edge research bridging computational techniques with practical mathematical applications across engineering, data science, finance, and physical sciences. 

Aims

The journal aims to advance computational and applied mathematics by disseminating high-quality, peer-reviewed research that develops novel methodologies and demonstrates their impact. "Ganitam," rooted in ancient Sanskrit traditions of reckoning and calculation, honors this heritage while fostering collaboration between theorists and practitioners, prioritizing rigorous, reproducible results aligned with global priorities like AI, sustainability, and stochastic systems.

Scope

Ganitam covers theoretical foundations, computational implementations, and applied outcomes in key areas:

• Numerical analysis and scientific computing
• Optimization, operations research, and control theory
• Computational statistics, probability, and stochastic processes
• Data science algorithms, machine learning mathematics, and big data analytics
• Mathematical modeling in finance, engineering, biology, and physics
• High-performance computing, parallel algorithms, and simulation methods

Submissions must feature original contributions with strong computational emphasis; pure theory without applications or non-mathematical case studies are excluded. Open access,
bi-annual issues starting 2026.

Corrections to Published Work: 

Honest errors are a part of research and publishing and require publication of a correction when they are detected. We expect authors to inform the Journal’s Editor of any errors of fact they have noticed or been informed of in their article once published. Corrections are made at the journal’s discretion. The correction procedure depends on the publication stage of the article, but in all circumstances a correction notice is published as soon as possible. Details can be found on the Call for Papers section of the journal website.  

Retractions: Retractions are considered by journal editors in cases of evidence of unreliable data or findings, plagiarism, duplicate publication, and unethical research. We may consider an expression of concern notice if an article is under investigation. All retraction notices will explain why the article was retracted. The retraction procedure depends on the publication stage of the article.
